The childbirth educator curriculum is designed to use alongside the childbirth preparation book, *Navigating Your Birth: A Complete Childbirth Preparation Guide* by Carolyn Quinn Reisman. This book can be used by parents in the comfort of their own home, as well as in a childbirth class setting. The book’s comprehensive subject material, visual aids, and active learning techniques provide a unique curriculum that can be easily utilized by childbirth educators, doulas, and midwives. The chapters are easy for parents to navigate, and you can also choose specific content to include when you teach that best fits your teaching style and your students' particular needs.
The curriculum consists of 14-16 hours of class instruction.
